There And Back Again. ...Again.

Pro cartoonist and fellow Kentuckian Tauhid Bondia has at last reincarnated Spells & Whistles in the new S&E 2nd Edition. Click on over to the Rocket Surgery comics site to get your regular dose of D&D-type thrills and giggles before "someone" tries to sue him out of existance.

The art looks damn fine, too. This is what
Suburban Tribe would look like if I were doing it for a living. Go! Right Now!

So how can we convince you to do Suburban Tribe for a living? :D

I think we'd all have to pay his wages. That might get him moving. Then again. . . . how many unique visitors a week ? Each contributing 50 cents a week.

I need to stop thinking of things like this. These people should be giving *ME* 50 cents a week. I'm a student, I need the money !

It's a chain of restaurants. I believe it's the first that sold hamburgers in the US.

TMI ! TMI ! Oh god, MY EYES !

Wow. Gil answered the question. But *YOU* Eljefe, took me to a new place. A new, exciting . . . and terrifying place. Of darkness . . .and wet sounds ! 32oz of cola ? My god, the US will soon be a nation of diabetics !

My grandfather fondly talked of eating many, many White Castles as a teen. He lived to be almost 90. Go figure.

Man, I have read your comic from the beginning almost 5 times. It is amazing. Question though...why are you changing the artwork? Keep it the same please!

Wow, plug another guy's comic, and watch the community take off!

I think we've covered White Castles, so I will answer the remaining questions:

1) Doing ST for a living does indeed involve money. The best way to meet this goal right now is for readers to S P R E A D the word in order to drive my unique visitors up. My first piece of merchandise is on the way in the next few weeks.

2.I'm glad that you found the comic and like it, anonymous, but I don't understand that you think I am "changing" the art? I'll tell you that I think the art is the weakest part of the strip, and I am always trying to improve it. But due to my day job and family obligations, the art is the best I can manage in the short time I have to do it in.

(In other words, Skip looks more like ElJefe.)

I'm definitely trying to get Skip more in shape more than any of the other characters... he's always kind of looked like he was a borderline Down Syndrome case.

(Skip, not ElJefe.)

Don't sell yourself short - your comic looks great, and your stories are imaginative and well-told. That said, Mr. Bondia also has great art - but he seems to have been playing World of Warcraft during his little hiatus.

Never meant to push your buttons. I still love your comic, and it is the best that I have seen since Liberty Meadows. Again, I love your comic so much I have read it from the beginning many times. I understand family life, and understand the time and effort that goes into it. You are a much better artist than me, and I didn't mean for my question to seem like I was taking a shot at you. I was only wondering why the art changed all of a sudden, so excuse me for not putting my question in better words (not sarcasm). Thank you and please keep up the comic as best you can, for it's the first thing I read every Mon, Wed, and Fri.
