There will probably not be a new strip today.
Saturday morning, I had to take my wife to the ER and we have been at the hospital ever since. It is nothing life-threatening, but we will probably be here a couple more days.
There is WiFi at the hospital, but any downtime I spend here is going to clients and paying jobs. When this is over, I am going to make a serious effort to build up a lead of several weeks' worth of strips. I've been working on my own for over a year now, and there's really no excuse not to have a cushion of strips for vacations and emergencies.
In the meantime, I thought that I would post some recent works-in-progress from my digital painting portfolio. Click on them for larger versions.

Hey John I hope she's doing better , it's Thursday and no word. You guys doing ok?
Just to let everyone know, John's wife is still in the hospital as of last night (6/20). With out divulging to much info., John's wife may need surgery. Nothing life-threatening, but serious enough to be discussing surgery. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Hope the missus is doing better John. I know that it can be hard sometimes when you worry about your lady (been through that).
Anyway, is there a particular reason that you tend to draw Tiff (or in the case of the Samaurai, a manifestation of her as an Oriental Male) in every one of those paintings? I mean the one on the bottom looks like Tiff when she's looking at what's left at the bar. The one on top is your own creation of her when you did the D&D strip. The dude with the Katana just makes me think "Tiff" because he's about to behead someone.....
Well, there were no models for the paintings in this post, so I guess that I might have been subliminally influenced by Tiff's looks for the third picture. The first one is a blood elf from WoW. Dunno, I'm trying to branch out.
