Life IS a Beach.
Friday's strip did not make it up on the site until Sunday morning. Sorry about being so late, but things with client deadlines really are that busy. What's good for my business seems bad for my comics.
This leads me to announce that I will be on vacation next week and Suburban Tribe will have no new strips from June 4 - 8. It was my intention that comics continue uninterrupted next week, but it's just not possible. My wife made arrangements for this vacation and a house sitter several months ago and when she did, I was pretty ambivalent about it. But I have spent the last 6-8 weeks really earning this break and I am looking forward to it.
I will be working on other projects (personal projects, my digital painting portfolio, etc.) while I am away, thanks to the wonders of my MacBook and Wacom tablet. If internet access is available and if the mood strikes, maybe I'll update the blog but no promises.
In the meantime, if anyone out there would like to author a guest strip, email it to me before 9 pm on Friday June 1, and I will run it next week. The only guidelines are: 1) The comic must feature Suburban Tribe characters and 2) The final art can be no wider than 940 pixels.
Back to the salt mines.

Have a great vacation!
Have a great Trip, and hopefully your mac book isn't plagued with gremlins.... wait you bought a mac not a PC never mind.
God, I hate Brittany. It's good to have a character to loathe so strongly, though.
Have a nice trip and thanks for the strips!
Sad crying girl in snow! Someone's reading Fred Gallagher?
I thought she was energizing a transporter...
...damn I'm a frakkin' geek.

Someone's reading Fred Gallagher, but it ain't me. :)

Glad to hear it!
So what happened to the ST logo?
Okay, now the fight with Britney is just gettin' stupid.
Can we say "hostile working environment"? This is leaving the realm of bossly assholishness and entering the realm of lawyerly actionability.
Unless, of course, Mr. Bullfish is also snaking out Tiffany's colon every morning...didn't think so. He still has his entrails.
You know, this is a very good strip. But also, reading it over several years I think has prepared me to understand the idea of workplace bullying. I now see (having read about it outside the strip) that both my partner and I have been targets of workplace-bully behavior. I guess this is of no interest to John or anyone else that reads these threads, but I thought I'd say so.
