Suburban Tribe

Monday, April 24, 2006

Two things today:

1) Mark of the Beast
Today's strip is Suburban Tribe #666, so I thought it appropriate that Caesar show his face for the first time in four months (!) to star in a stand-alone strip. Back to the new story tomorrow.

2) Palladium Books needs your help!
Suburban Tribe fan Brandon Aten has alerted me that his employer Palladium books, a well-known publisher of table-top RPG material, in addtion to other sci-fi/fantasy products, is in danger of losing all means of financing. You can view the long and sordid details here, but the long story short is that this excellent company will go under for good unless it moves a massive amount of product in a short amount of time.

Don't let this happen! Click here to learn how you can keep Palladium from going out of business. The more companies that produce more of the cool stuff we're all into (and let's not lie; if you're reading a webcomic, you're into this stuff), the better. Hell, I still have my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG manual -- published by Palladium -- from when I was in high school.

Spread the word to all of your friends. Now would be an excellent time to take a little break from World of Warcraft and/or City of Heroes to check out what you've been missing in the pen & paper RPG world. Save Palladium!

As much as I'd love to play pen and paper RPGs, WoW has the benefit that I can play with my friends at home in Toronto, while I'm temporarily over here in Ireland. :)
