Doh!

If you stopped by on Friday, you probably saw a "Cyber-squatter" page posted by my hosting provider, GoDaddy.com instead of a new comic. A few of you panicked, as did I.

The long story short: GoDaddy temporarily revoked my hosting services because
my domain registration expired and did not auto-renew because that account was pointed to my Visa card... the one I paid off and cancelled 2 months ago.

And what was that
crack I posted last week about being a better businessman about all of this? God, I suck.

Everyone should be able to see the site now, and you can check Friday's strip here or go back one day in the archives. Special shout out to Gene, who, upon seeing the cyber-squatter page went above and beyond the call of duty for any ST fan and registered www.suburbantribe.org and held it for me because he feared the unthinkable. Suburbantribe.org now redirects to
this site. Take a bow, Gene.

Mission Hill
Last year, Sequential Tart gave me a glowing review and compared Suburban Tribe favorably to a cancelled animated TV show called Mission Hill.

Mission Hill was created by former writers/producers of "The Simpsons" and ran for about 20 seconds on the WB in 1999 then it was yanked after 6 episodes out of 13 were aired. The entire series runs on Adult Swim once a year or so, but I always seem to miss it. I have seen clips of the episode where Andy opens a strip club, but that's all.

The show has a cult following, an
d it's apparently large enough to get the entire series released on DVD this November. The DVD set is on my Amazon Wishlist for Christmas and all of my relatives have been notified that I desperately want to see with my own two eyes if Alan < Andy or vice-versa. Should be fun!

SNEAK PREVIEW!
Here are the pencils for one of the two incentive prints for the pledge drive next week. Other prizes and incentives will be offered as well, but you'll have to wait till then for those. (Click on the pic for a larger version.)

Glad you got everything straightened out. I was a little worried.

Very curious to see the sketches.

Since there's a few folks here that are fans of Phil Spectors "Do", I thought I'd share this (he was mentioned in a local paper, prompting a nostolagic search)

Check it out. I think he's managing to combine the afro, with the *mullet*.

We can mock Spector all we want, but you know... if you're as old as he is and you can still grow a hairstyle that makes you look like a former member of Night Ranger, more power to you.

Guy with hair like that will make his new "girlfriend" in prison very happy.
