Without Further Ado:

I am turning over the blog portion of the site indefinitely to ElJefe, ElMacho and Beav. (Or is it "The Beav"? I'm not sure.)

I'm doing this because I am no closer to getting paid for writing and drawing comics than I was a year ago and that's because I haven't promoted myself near as much as I should have. I need to spend much more time creating a print proposal of this strip as well as getting my other comics ideas into shape for submission to "dead tree" publishers.

I'll still post, just not that frequently. You can also ask me anything in the comments here, in the forums or via email and I'll answer.

New date for the Suburban Tribe Pledge Drive: October 17 - October 28. Look for that limited -edition "Cheesecake" print as well as some other cool prizes.

I certainly hope you can get ST promoted. About how many readers does it currently have?

Gil, I currently get about 10,000 uniques per week, but I have pretty much turned my back on the idea of ST being a comic that generates revenue by being published exclusively on the web.

What I am doing now is re-packaging several story arcs in an industry-standard "Full Script" format and redrawing a lot of art into a standard 10 x 15 comic book format.
