Suburban Tribe #1 is Sold Out

As of today, Suburban Tribe #1 is no longer available from the site store. (If you placed an order before today, you will get the issue.) I'm not sure when more will be available, but it won't be too soon. If you really wanted the comic and hadn't ordered it yet, your best bet is to wait for the first trade paperback early in '07, which will reprint content from issues 1-3, along with some bonus material.

In the meantime, here's a sketch of Haley I whipped up earlier this week. I like how it turned out. Click on it for a larger version.

Very very "atmospheric" drawing of Haley, great work! You're really at your best when drawing with pencils or black and white.

John, I disagree with Randomobserver, I don't think your colors distract from the lineart at all. Your cover art and that Warcraft comic are perfect examples of you working at your best with color.

Any chance we'll see this Hayley colored?

True, I completely forgot that the coloured cover with the Suburban Tribe cast in fantasy style is absolutely mind blowing. Still, maybe its the fact that I simply prefer black and white or simply uncoloured drawings/comics most of the time.

True. Black and white has a unique quality.

By the way, best adaption of "There's no crying in Baseball!" I've read in a long time.

It will be a sad day indeed, Dalton, when a fart joke doesn't crack up a ten-year-old boy. Or an 80-year-old man, for that matter.

Sure, there's always a chance, but there seems to be quite a bit that I can't get around to these days...
