Making it up to Mister Nibbles

If you'd like to see one of my most recent freelance web design efforts, check out http://www.imjustacatmattress.com Author Susan Sturgill has written and illustrated a fantastic little gift book that all you Caesar fans will surely appreciate. And if you live here in Louisville, you can pick up a copy at Borders on Shelbyville road where Susan will be signing copies this Saturday (9/23) starting at 2pm.

My wife is deathly allergic to cats, and she loved this book. And maybe if enough of you guys buy a copy, I'll have to spend a little less time in Purgatory for what I did to poor
Mister Nibbles this summer.

PS: The season premiere of The Office was beyond stellar. Didn't realize how much I missed it.

Hi,

Love your webcomic, checked out your iamacatmattress.com website, did you check it in Firefox? Looks a bit wonky to me, the frame within the frame scrolling seems to be working a different way to you wanted it to... Unless it's supposed to work like that, in which case, cool text slidey over text avant-garde website!! ;-)

I hate that my first comment on your work is negative but I'm sure you'd rather know than not.

Keep up the good work, so looking forward to the next instalment - go Haley, get medieval on them... where's my blowlamp and pliers...

Hmm... I've viewed the page in Firefox, Safari, and IE, and haven't found any errors (and IE was the most problematic)... can you send me a screen grab of the page?

You other guys who tried it in FF, did you try it with the window at half size - I check out my comics at work in a reduced size window (like that'll fool anyone...) ;-)

I have tried to e-mail the screen dump from both work and hotmail and both times I get an undeliverable error message , the attachment is 2MB - is this too big for you? Anyhoo, try FF in a half sized window and you'll see what I mean.

-Tried everything I could, can't get an error for the site to duplicate on FF, Safari or IE. But the text box is supposed to float while the rest of the layout resizes. And my mailbox will block emails larger than 1mb, Nick.

You know, you'd think after 10 years, it'd get easier to design websites. But I guess all those eggheads are to busy trying to give me an aneurysm with their "easy to use" and "powerful" Actionscript.

once again....you have left my jaw on the floor.....can't wait till friday :D

Wait until next *Wednesday* and let me know what you think ;)

I finally understood what Nick means: in FF, resize the width of the browser until there is a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom, then move the slider. The outer frame moves, butthe image stays put, so it "floats" out of the frame to the right. IMO this is a FF bug.
